Description:
Need a pos software written for sit down restaurant. Looking for standard features such as create, split, combine, reopen, close etc. Software must have the ability for wait staff to enter amount of guests per check with a total amount of customers with closing reports. Must be able to produce data base reports that can be sorted multiple ways (example alphabetical or numerical is product has a name and number). Would prefer the ability for data to exported into excel or other such software. Would need a simple accounts receiveable with amount charged, amount of payment, total owed. We don't need anything to age or figure and add interest. We would like a simple inventory system that will automatically input sales as they occur, allow us to input purchases and a physical inventory count. It will also have to have the ability to close out at the end of the period putting ending inventory numbers into beginning inventory and resetting sales, purchases, and any adjustments to 0. We need a simple time keeping system that would allow an employee time in and out on a date with the ability for a manager to alter or correct data as employees often forget to clock out. We would need the time keeping system to print a report totaling hours for each individual employee at the end of the report. The whole catch is we would like the actual pos to run in DOS because DOS is far more stable than windows. We are extremely busy restaurant and the stress of multitasking causes windows to freeze to much to be practical. We would like office functions such as reports and inventory to be windows based because it is multitasking and more user friendly for the managers. System must be able to close sales at the end of a cycle, run a sales report, but allow other terminals in the restaurant to be on in the software for time keeping.
