Description:
I'm sure this one will be a breeze for anyone that is fairly well versed in PERL.
My client is an online incorporation preparation company.
I need a CGI application to be developed in PERL that does the following:
High Level Description: Client requires a means for their customers to retrieve order status.
Low Level Description: User is presented with a login form that consists of a Order ID # and e-mail address field.
Once the user successfully authenticates, he shall be presented with a status report of his order that is similar to the status report given on bizfilings.com -- I will provide you with a screen shot of their order status page.
As far as the updateing that status of the order is concerned: The employee portion of the site will be in a directory utilizing apache security (simple .htaccess file). The user will be presented with a list of all orders sorted by order date and broken up in segments of no more than 25 orders. In other words, in order to access order number 26 - 50, the user must click a 'next' link.
Once the user selects an order, he will be presented with a page of ten options with check boxes beside them (see attached status.htm page). Needless to say, the appropriate checkboxes will be checked if the employee previously updated the status of the order. The employee can select as many of the checkboxes as he wants. When the user clicks submit the status of the user's order shall be updated. Once again, the order's must be stored in a text file. I would prefer it if you could use the existing code (see attachement) as the foundation for your code.
