During these 30 years, he has mainly be associated with startup companies, except for a 3 year stint at Digital Equipment Corp. and 2 years at Telecom New Zealand Ltd.
For the most of '80s, Richard was travelling extensively thoughout the USA and Europe. He was involved with engineering and software startup companies in the USA and Switzerland. In 1989 he moved to New Zealand and has not wanted to move again. His positions have included Analyst, Sr. Software Engineer, R&D Manager and Director of Research and Development.
In 1992, he formed the company Jetstream to develop and market parallel processing software. In two years it was reborned as Paradigm Technology Ltd, which developed telecommunications software based on the previous work. The software is in use by major telecommunications companies around the world.
In March 2000, Richard left Paradigm for a much needed break. At that time Paradigm had 45+ employees, offices in New Zealand, Australia and England, and revenues over 6 million.
Richard is now contracting out his services for projects involving, C#, Visual Basic, ASP, MS SQL and other web related technologies. </DIV>

Schneider was very quick to respond and came through with GREAT coding on the COM component I needed. He was also very responsive to questions I had and came through BIG in the extra functionality I needed. I will definitely be inviting him to my future projects. |
