As you know, saving a page of a website is not always the best solution as everything is saved, including navigation-buttons, banners etc. although mostly you just want the main-article on the website. So, I need a solution for this problem. What I have in mind can either be some standalone app but also (maybe the better solution) a plug-in for IE (MS Internet Explorer). The software should allow the user (by pressing for example Ctrl-Right Mouse or similar) to highlight the content of the website like you can find it here: www.nzzglobal.ch If you check out that site, you will see that it highlights portions of the newspaper in red colour. I want something like that. The software should allow the user to choose which part(s) of the website he wants to save, and allow him to save it in different formats (e.g. XML, Database?, plaintext.txt) Please bid only if you can explain to me how you plan to realize the "highlighting"-feature of the software.
