Having no prior experience to base rating Kingsleys work, I instead take into consideration several other factors. The project is to be released under GPL with understanding that having a working code base for an ongoing project such as this, is a major step forward. Has this been achieved? Yes, it has! Second, deadline setting was more so from the way rent-a-coder works than any real project target dates, but I'd keep RAC the way it is, having goals set is important, for both buyer and coder. This project wasn't a small project and I think Kingsley at times felt he bit off a bigger task than he initially thought (but never doubted his skill to complete the tasks), and on the otherside I suspect most other projects on RAC are not so detailed in specifications, but instead are open to allowing the coder more freedom to determine user functionality details. Experience I've had over many years in communicating the project to others and the difficulty I've had with incorrect interpretations, I have to say Kingsley interpretation was a big relief. Not perfect but certainly close enough to be workable. I recommend Kingsley as a coder. One thing I feel I should add, as a matter of fairnes to Kingsley and any future buyer, He currently seems to lean toward underestimating in general, (as many of us do) i.e., price, complexity, time.... So have a good and fair idea what your bid request requires and is worth to you, and be fair with him, even if he does underestimate. I suspect as more work comes his way thru RAC, he'll get better at it. |

Kingsley is a great coder. All code was well written and well commented. I would love to work with him again. |
