Resume:
Background:
Name: Tripurari Smith
Job Title: Freelance Solutions Developer
(Read: unemployed techie)
I'm currently a college student at a relatively small but excellent community college in a beautiful rural valley in the Pacific Northwest, where I've been living since before the first Bush administration. To emphasize the joys of rural life, I'd like to sing the theme song from "Green Acres" here, but that would be off-topic.
In strict compliance with appropriately concerned FDA regulations, my code is 100% organically grown.
General Experience:
I have several years experience with programming in general, but in the last two years I've settled into Windows programming with Microsoft Visual C++ and Visual Basic. My credits include a comprehensive set of game enhancement utilities and numerous productivity tools, not to mention the dozens of pointless programs I create when I'm bored.
I also have experience crafting hand-coded page designs and HTML layouts and web graphics with Adobe PhotoShop 6. I have had several years experience using JavaScript to create dynamic web content using client-side scripts. I also have had years of experience using Macromedia Flash MX to create dynamic and efficient streaming web content. (and very pretty, too) I have created web sites (not big ones, mind you) for several organizations, including my old school district.
As an added bonus, I'm also good at manipulating buzz-words. Watch this: I plan to proactively leverage resources in a multitasking environment to create market-driven synergies. Brain buzzing yet? Well now you know where the name comes from.
Previous Occupations:
I have been previously employed by my school district on two occasions. The first and less significant of these was for the purpose of designing a school web site. My district also employed me for the purpose of teaching a class on basic web design with HTML, to which end I developed a helper/parser application for the use of the students.
I was also offered a job in a community education program to teach a class on JavaScript and associated web technologies, which at the time I could not accept due to time constraints.
I currently maintain a section of a large video game-related site, which I unfortunately cannot disclose because it contains direct contact information.
