been coding Java for 6 years, I write Java-programs (applets/standalone/servlets) daily.
Network programming
I have extensive experience of writing programs that use TCP/IP, IP, UDP and high level network services (DNS/SMTP/HTTP/FTP etc). I've written programs that act as Internet servers and been running stable under very high traffic. I usually code network-based programs in Java, or C/C++ if it's for UNIX.
UNIX programming
I have written programs that act as deamons, used sockets for network-communcation, worked with multiple processes, used signals and inter-process communicaton techniques such as pipes semaphores etc...

Some past projects

Editor for Nokia-logos
A Java applet in which users could design their own logos. I also wrote the servlet that enabled the user to send the logo to his cellphone (via SMS).
Webaddress-system
A system for shorter urls named HTTP2. It offered addresses in the form http2//www.name.com for free. This system got 200 000 registrations and was running very stable on a Linux-machine. I wrote all the software for this system. I also wrote a special database that used my own hash-algoritm to lookup an address as fast as possible.

I always write my code very clear and easy to understand and I will follow the descriptions you give to create exactly the software you expect.

	I was struggling to get part of my programme working and would not have managed it without Mikael. He responded almost immediately and produced the results almost instantly while taking the time to tweak it to my preferences. Even though this was a small program Mikael stayed on top of it and delivered the final coded in less than a day after I accepted the his bid.
