Description:
I need the following output using ASP/VBScript/MS Access.
Todays date (i.e. 11th Jan 2003) Record 999 Record 998 Record 997 {record numbers are for example } Record 996 ' i.e all records added today
Yesterdays date (i.e. 10th Jan 2003) Record 995 Record 994 Record 993 Record 992 ' i.e all records added yesterday
......and so on for the last 31 days.........
***100 records must be displayed per page ***
For an example of exactly the kind of thing i need please please see http://www.craigslist.org/sfo/bar/
I think this can be done with datashaping but any way is fine as long it it easily transerable to other similar pages. I dont want thirty odd recordsets on one page! Ideally id like to do this from one table (can you shape from one table?) but two or more would be fine as long as i can get the desired output.
Iv attached a stripped down database with three rough tables but no data to give a rough idea of the database design and relationships. The relationships are not set in stone yet but will be similar to the customer > record/ad relationship in the sample database.
Essentially, what i need is one page in ASP/VBScript with a database similar to the one supplied which has an output like http://www.craigslist.org/sfo/bar/.
Thanks.
