I need a function that will return a random Item Number from my catalog. I want to use this function to display a random product image on my opening page. I can do most of it but I have no idea how to get something random from my database. If you write the routine to give me the random item number, I can do the rest to incorporate it into the site. The DSN is 944_Catalog and the Field I'm looking for is Item_Number. Item Number is a text field. The catalog database has about 3000 items but is subject to change, so the boundaries for the random Item Number would have to be dependant on the records in the database. Deliverables: 1) Complete and fully-functional code in either text format or as an ASP page. 2) Complete ownership and distribution copyrights to all work purchased.
