Description:
This is an assignment for my college C++ class. Create a SavingsAccount class. Use a static data member to contain the annualInterestRate for each of the savers. Each member of the class contains a private data member savingsBalance incicating the amount the saver currently has on deposit. Provide a calculateMonthlyInterest member function that calculates the monthly interest by multiplying the balance by annualInterestRate divided by 12; this interest should be added to savingsBalance. Provide a static member function modifyInterestRate that sets the static annualInterestRate to a new value. Write a driver program to test class SavingsAccount. Instantiate two different savingsAccount objects, saver1 and saver2 with balances of $2000 AND $3000, respectively. Set AnnualInterestEate to 3%, then calculate the monthly interest and print the new balances for each of the savers. Then set the annualInterestRate to 4% and calculate the next month's interest and print the new balances for each of the savers.
Deliverables: Your class functions should not calculate the same equations twice (once for each saver) but should instead be general (we can use them for any number of savers.) Rather your saverOne and saverTwo should be the objects of class SavingsAccount. The file for the main() program must have a header that contains the following information, Program title: Details:(Input, what type of input is required for this code segment to work .Input data types and variable names.) (Output, what output does this code produce. Output data types and variable names.) (Intermediate Variables, types and names) (Global Variables, types and names or none.)
Design: A description of the algorithm or logic used in the design of the program. Steps used to create the program solution. Include any neccessary explanations to understand the program.
Special Conditions / Other:
Must be completed by 6/16/01 because it is due for class.
