Description:
a walk-in patients in a medical clinic are treated in a priority queue( priority number in range 1 to 4).
lower priority treated first.
same priority treated as frist-in frist-out.
doctors work independently, when one is free he take the next patient.
the treatment takes 3 minutes for the patient with priority 4, 4 minutes for patients with priority 2 or 3 and 5 minutes for patients with priority 1.
no break during the work day.
use a single priority queue to simulate a days functioning of the clinic.
determine the number of patients in each category treated and the average wait time for a patient in each category.
patients informations input from file data. looks like
2.2 tim 4
2.8 john 2
3.3 brain 2
3.5 ken 3
first number is patient's arrival time, followed by patient's name,followed by priority
your program should be event-driven and produce appropriate output at the processing of each event.
output all statistics
patients arrive during the 6AM to 10 PM will be treated.
use a single priority queue.
