Description:
Our coin shop is looking for a program to run on our website and CD-Rom that will assist users in the identification of their ancient Roman Imperial coins. What we need is a program (presumably in JavaScript or other cross/non-platform language) where the user can enter a portion of a legend on a coin and come up with a list of possiblities from a database of legends which can be linked to our pages of coins for sale. We will provide all the information for the database.
The program must work both on the internet and CD-Rom with results that link to other HTML pages specified in the database.
Deliverables: Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
Complete copyrights to all work purchased with full resale rights.
30 day technical support is required.
Platform:
Must run in most Java enabled web browsers. If a better alternative exists, we are open to any suggestions.
Must be 100% finished and received by buyer on:
Sep 30, 2002 EDT
Deadline legal notes: All times are expressed in the time zone of the site EDT (UT - 5). If the buyer omitted a time, then the deadline is 11:59:59 PM EDT on the indicated date.
Remember that contacting the other party outside of the site (by email, phone, etc.) on all business projects < $500 (before the buyer's money is escrowed) is a violation of both the software buyer and seller agreements.
We monitor all site activity for such violations and can instantly expel transgressers on the spot, so we thank you in advance for your cooperation.
If you notice a violation please help out the site and report it. Thanks for your help.

Hi, we are a highly qualified freelance team of computer programmers with more than 3 years of experience in web programming, web design, asp/sql, java, javascript, jsp/jdbc. We all have a BA in Computer Science, we are not newbies nor script kids. That's why we think we will finish this project on time if not before the deadline.
One of our main goals is the quality of our products. We will not stop working until you are 100% satisfied.
Meanwhile we have some questions about the project. What technology does your web server support? ASP/ Access, MS SQL or JSP, Java, MySql?. If you don't know, it's not a problem we can check it for you. We will also provide you with a tool or web form to update and check the information in the database.
Finally, although you explicitly requested it we always offer 30 days of technical support to our clients for free.
Please choose our bid, you will be more than satisfied with the results.
best regards,
Daedalus Coding Services
