Description:
Development of a custom list server using asp/com and SQL server 7.

A large user database is already in exsitence with the user data in it.

All interaction through a secure web interface.

Deliverables:
Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.

Complete copyrights to all work purchased.

To include the following:
List Creation
* Administrators can create and store multiple lists of users from the database.
* List storage can be static (the names and details are saved) or dynamic (the query definition is saved).
* By default lists will only contain users that have opted for information to be sent to them (administrator can override for special cases)
* Selection criteria for the list will be based on a simple drop down lists in the fashion of a QBE (Query by Example) grid.
* An import option from existing databases will be available.
* An import option from existing lists will be available.
* New lists can be created by combining existing saved lists.
* Offline editing of the user data with synchronisation of changes and conflict management.
* List testing: The list can be tested against a message with sample output being sent to the administrator for review.
* List can be marked as “User Selectable” – see Users section below
List Management
* Additionally screen added to existing user management admin section allowing easy view/edit of the lists subscribed to for users.
* Administrators can easily remove a user from a list (without the user being deleted from the database)
* Automatic handling of bounced emails and removal from lists
* Bounced mails report showing invalid email addresses and link to users accounts.
* Scheduled list history report showing details of mails sent and any errors.
* Two separate accounts for each country will be available: one for the management of the database and the other for customer support with limited features available.
Message Creation
* Text based or simple HTML based editing of the mail message will be selectable.
* HTML based editing of the message will be performed outside of the web application (e.g. FrontPage) and pasted in to a HTML form, or via an in-built web based simple HTML editor (IE5.5 and above only)
* Message preview
* Design HTML and Text Templates can be created, saved and then used to assist in the creation of messages.
* Message creation is separate from list creation, so that a message can easily be used for multiple lists.
* It will be possible to add an attachment to [IB3]a message.
* Message testing: The message can be tested with output being sent to the administrator for review.
Mail Delivery
* Built-in scheduler will enable sending of mail at a predetermined time, once only, or on a recurrence.
* Mail can also be sent manually.
User’s Control of List Membership
* All emails will automatically include a link and a return email address, allowing the users to unsubscribe easily using one of these methods.
* Additional section added to the Users Account Management will allow the users to see all the Lists there are subscribed to, and that are available for them to select
