Description:
I provide a website for my friend who races sprint cars. The site is www.daveely.com. My immediate need is just to add a ticker to the front page. When finished, I need to be able to perform weekly changes to the text content contained withing the ticker. The ability to include a link withing the message content would be neat but not required. If I like the work and creative ability of the person getting this work I will surely be refreshing the site in the coming months as he will be changing cars and sponsors for next year. So there's more ahead. I'd like to minimize the number of designers modifying the site.
Deliverables:
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Installation package that will install the software (in ready-to-run condition) on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) Complete ownership and distribution copyrights to all work purchased.
A fully functional ticker on the home page that fits the look of the site that I can change content on without being a saavy coder.

It's housed at Verio under their bronze plan. I can give specifics as required.

Deadline legal notes: All times are expressed in the time zone of the site EDT (UT - 5). If the buyer omitted a time, then the deadline is 11:59:59 PM EDT on the indicated date.
Remember that contacting the other party outside of the site (by email, phone, etc.) on all business projects < $500 (before the buyer's money is escrowed) is a violation of both the software buyer and seller agreements.
We monitor all site activity for such violations and can instantly expel transgressers on the spot, so we thank you in advance for your cooperation.
