Resume:

Originally from a software support background and then in a high level support management position for a leading edge Telecoms company, I now run a software company called Kapie Systems Limited, based in the United Kingdom.

I have been coding for over 10 years, from small embedded micro controllers (PIC, 68HC11, Z80, H8) to front ends for business critical database apps. We have completed a number of projects for next generation telcos (primarily interfaces and analysis tools for there billing databases and also interfacing and integration projects with an industry standard CRM software application.

Some of our recent work includes

Development of an ActiveX control which handles communications with handheld, marine and aviation Global Position Systems (GPS) devices.

Development of a web tool for analyzing network performance in a Voice over IP network

A custom ActiveX control providing message logging facilities (allows detailed troubleshooting of software bugs)

Web design for a leading UK management consultancy.

Coming from a support background I realise the importance of excellent customer relations, status reporting and providing timely ongoing support to projects and clients.
