Description:
I need to have a program that will read a simple text file which contains another file name. Then it will take this file name and search out an entire network (of any kind) until the file is found on a certain computer. The program will return two things to another text file named net203.cam which will be written into the root directory; 1)Wether or not the requested file was found on more than on computer (boolean) 2) If only found on one computer on the network than the complete adress to access that file from the current work station. As far as the look of the form when it is running is just a thin bar with no title bar that has the current forcus and simply reads "Determining Location of Host Machine Program..." The final program exe can be titled net203.exe.
Deliverables:
Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. Complete copyrights to all work purchased. I would also like a complete set of dll's and ocx's that are neede to run the exe file. All work can be emailed to me in a complete zip(s). Please try to keep the zip files under 1024K for email. If you cannot email them than you can post them on the net for me to download.
Special Conditions / Other:
I will need the completed project within 6 to 8 weeks. The sooner the better though.
Remember that contacting the other party outside of the site (by email, phone, etc.) on all business projects < $500 (before the buyer's money is escrowed) is a violation of both the software buyer and seller agreements.

Code is written in Delphi 5 but can be translated in VB. |
