We require ASP and PHP scripts for uploading files to the server.

The ASP script should do more or less what the one at:
http://www.asp101.com/articles/jacob/scriptupload.asp
does, but we need an ORIGINAL script as we will be distributing it to others.

(On several occasions people have tried to pass-off hacked freeware scripts as original work, but all we need to do is do a search for one of the lines of code in Google to find out!)

Importantly it should avoid the need for VBScript 5 if possible, we want it to be able to run on as many IIS servers as possible.

Ideally, if the IUSR account does not have write permissions to the directory then it should warn the user gracefully rather than throw a server error (I realise this may not be possible).

There should be a constant that lets the administrator choose between using the Persits ASP Upload (if installed) or the ASP only script.

It should allow multiple files to be uploaded on the same form. The upload function should take a parameter that specifies whether the file should overwrite one of the same name, or rename the new file (i.e. file(1).txt file(2).txt ...).

Also, we need a generic function that we can use to replace request.form, that will work whether it is a multi-part form or not.

i.e. we have a generic "Save Data" script which cycles through posted values in Request.Form and writes them to the database. The form posting to it may or may not have file upload(s) on it, but we want to keep this script as generic as possible.

We will do the integration into our existing script.

The PHP version should be much more staight forward as it has Upload support built in. It should be functionaly similar to the ASP version though.
