When the users selects the appropriate item I want the category field be posted into the text box below, basically linking the item selected in the combo box to the appropriate category. I have already tried coding this code in the category text box. When a user changes their selection in the combo box, the text field below is updated with the correct category. I also added some code to force the form to display the appropriate category when it first loads.
