Description:
I require a Perl script to test a form on a particular page by submitting test data to the form, parsing the returned results page, and saving the results to a variable that can be tested against the expected results.
I need to able to submit data to the following page: http://www.buildingbetterhealth.com/topic/bodyfat
For example, I would like it to submit: height=5'10 weight=160 sex=m age=22
The results page returns the following: "• Your body fat percentage is 16.4 • This percentage puts you in the normal range • For your age, the normal body fat range is 8-19 percent" and: "• Your body mass index is 23"
I would like the script to save "16.4","normal","8-19", and "23" to variables. Later, I will have to compare the values of these variables to the expected results.
This program should be able to test multiple data sets. I tried programming it using WWW::Mechanize and HTML:TokeParser, but I am having a lot of problems doing so.
Deliverables: 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Installation package that will install the software (in ready-to-run condition) on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) Complete ownership and distribution copyrights to all work purchased.
Platform:
Unix, Internet Explorer

Hello,
I am a Perl scripting expert
prepared to complete testing
your form within a day.
I favor the LWP module and then
HTML::TokeParser for these tasks.
It should be a simple matter to
launch a query and then parse
the output for the fields you
seek. Nevertheless, it may take
some care to prepare a query
completely and then sometimes
there is some slight of hand
required to receive the HTML
page from a website.
All steps will be documented
within the script to allow you
to learn these techniques.
