Description:
instant message client/server in visual basic. Client/Server app almost done. I want its functions as following: it contains some features of instant messengers like - client authenication (all users must register) - send instant messages to your friends - authorization over who gets added to your buddy list --buddies online status modes is similar to icq online, away, n/a, occupied, offline ,chatting is going on.After Client enters user name and password , it loads the client application with all the data as buddy list. client send internet connection state(speed&firewall) and area code,ip address,etc to server .When client ends chat with the other client. The both client must send information such as ip address, calling/called user ID , the calling/called duration of chat, the called telephone area code .the client have options for accept chat call--only the buddy, all online users,none.The client must have the ability to search the online user by ip address, user ID, the telephone area code the total of called/calling duration. the server will give the top 30 records of top result at first but more can be given on request.client is able to go through firewall to server.
Need database/login/client loading and saving done for Internet chat program. Client specific properties need to be loaded and saved from DB to client applications labels and listboxes. Must support numerous users and simultaneous connections over the Internet. must be ODBC compatible and include instruction on loading and use of database. Login screen allows users to create new account or load existing account(account and password are created in 10 digits.) . Creating a new account checks that user ID is not already in use, assigns and emails temporary password, creates the user account with all fields. User must have ability to change password. Also must have a save script that updates the clients database records. This should be able to be inserted into timers or command buttons so changes can be saved from client to DB • Each Time a user logs on they reset a field that show days since last logon. Admin Client needs to be able to connect to DB to manage server and accounts.
Deliverables:
Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. Complete copyrights to all work purchased.
Special Conditions / Other:
Would like this done sometime in February. Should provide basic support on assisting me with information on loading the DB and getting it running. Full Documentation on use and operation.
since almost all source code can be find in the internet. i give this price. but i am flexible.
Remember that contacting the other party outside of the site (by email, phone, etc.) on all business projects < $500 (before the buyer's money is escrowed) is a violation of both the software buyer and seller agreements.

| This is another one, only :) emoticon is working. i will send u some more, one is having serveral emoticons, text formatting, complaint, comment logging, reporting but that might be in my laptop, i developed that for an ISP in India but these would give u a fairer idea. |
