The source should be kept as simple as possible, nothing fancy required. :) Specific requirements: - Must be written in PHP - Must use MySQL to store the database - Must have an install.php script that will create the database - Must have an authentication procedure. eg, based on a checksum/code of some sort, where they are mailed a URL such as activate.php?code=12345, and only then are they added to the subscription list. - Because of that, the database should have two tables - one for activated users, and one for users awaiting activation (ones who haven't yet gone to activate.php with their code) - Must have subscribe and unsubscribe capability, with a little Welcome/Farewell message for each one respectively. - Must check database to check if email addr already exists before adding it. - Must (obviously) have the ability to send an email to the list, sending the email to each address seperately using the mail() function. - It only should support 1 list, theres no need to make it support multiple lists :) Thankyou Deliverables: Complete and fully-functional working program(s) / complete source code of all work done.
