Description:
Here are the rules that would help make this program work. Each player picks the winner of each NFL game and also designates a number to each of the teams that they have picked to win (1-15 depending on how many games are played that particular week). If the team that the player picked wins, they receive the number of points they had designated to that team. For example, if Denver beats the New York Jets and you have 15 points on the Broncos, you would receive 15 points. However, if you had 15 on the New York Jets, you would receive 0 points for that game. In the case of a tie between two teams, all players receive their points. (Please note there is no spreads involved in the calculations and therefore a win by fifty points is just as good as a win by one point.) The number of points that each player can give a particular team is based on how many games there is that particular week. If there are fifteen games that week, then there are fifteen numbers (1-15) you have to rank the games. Every number has to be used and no number can be used twice. Each player is also required to elect a tiebreaker for each week. The tiebreaker is designed to break ties using the Monday night game. Each player picks a tiebreaker to be the closest to the Monday night game's total score. For example, if the Denver Broncos beat the New York Jets 44-10 on Monday night, then the player closest to 54 would win the tie. Tiebreakers are only used when money needs to be awarded. The player with the highest point total after the end of each NFL week wins. After saying all that, I need a program that would accept every person's entry and have a key that when the key was updated, it would caluculate the total points and let you know who has been eliminated. For example, if there are 25 people entered and there are 15 games, and two people have exact opposite picks using 15 points and the same two people have picked very similar the rest of the games only one player will receive those points which will make it very difficult to gain that many points on that person causing that person to be eliminated or at a big disadvantage.

Deliverables:
Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. Complete copyrights to all work purchased. I would like to be able to import each person's picks from an excel spreadsheet. Also, when I update the key I would like the program to analyze the whole sheet and notify me of the people that are officially out of contention.

Hi,

I can do this for you in the next few days. I have a few questions about the interface that can wait until you've selected a coder. If you have a moment, please review my online resume and client comments regarding my performance on their projects.

Regards,

Mike
