Description:
I need an activex control written where it is the same as the regular dialog box but being extended in size like the ones used with previewing pictures selected. See the attached image please.
But All I want is the box extended with the space there - I do not want a picture preview put in. And also, what I need is a routine to be called when a filename is selected in the dialog box. For example, when a user selects the file and its highlited, pass the filename with its path to this routine so I can do something with it.
All of the properties, methods, etc. need to be the same as the common dialog control but with this added space and a routine called when a file is selected.
MUST WORK IN XP, and 98/95 Windows!!!
Do NOT bid unless you already know how to do this. I need the complete source code to the control and no outside or 3rd party controls can be used.
This must be coded in VB 6.0 also.
Deliverables:
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Installation package that will install the software (in ready-to-run condition) on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) Complete ownership and distribution copyrights to all work purchased.

Windows 95/98/ME/XP

- The sample doesn't
use the common dialog control, but uses the GetOpenFileName, and
related APIs in COMDLG32.DLL. That makes it light weight.
- I have also
wrapped the events in a class module, so that u have these events
also
