Description:
I have an Outlook form based on the standard Mail Form which I call from my App when a user wants to send an eMail. The reason for this is that I need to run code after the message is sent to update a database. I have given the form a message class of IPM.Note.Default and published it in my Personal Forms library.
In Outlook I have chosen an automatic signature and a style of stationery from the mail format tab, but these dont appear when I use my custom form.
I don't really want to replace the standard Outlook message form, as it will try and run my code when the mail is generated from Outlook normally.
Is it possible to apply the user defined Mail Formats to a user defined form/message class ?

I still don't understand why you need a separate form. There is an event that can capture sent items and you can use that to enter the details in a db.
If you accept my bid I will send you the code to do it. |
