Description:
We have the source code of an old application written in either VB3 or VB4 (the .frm files say version4.0, however I noticed that VB6 says 5.0 so I'm not sure which it was created in).
We no longer have that version of of VB, so before we go hunting on the auction sites for a copy we need someone to tell us:
a) which VB version it was created in.
b) does it compile.
c) if not, what components are missing?
The prj file is missing, but all the .frm files seem to be in tact, so hopefully it should just be a case of creating a new project and adding all the files.
Should be a fairly easy project for someone who has VB3 and 4!
Deliverables: 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Installation package that will install the software (in ready-to-run condition) on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) Complete ownership and distribution copyrights to all work purchased.
Platform:
VB3/4
Must be 100% finished and received by buyer on:

We monitor all site activity for such violations and can instantly expel transgressers on the spot, so we thank you in advance for your cooperation.
If you notice a violation please help out the site and report it. Thanks for your help.

Hi.
If you have an EXE of the program, you could also decompile it. 3 weeks ago I had the same problem with an Application. At this time I installed VB3+VB4 since I'm programming VB2 already... The only problem which could occur is, that the project uses a vbx, which is not standard. The VB-Version is easy to find, if you have the EXE. Just open and look for VB300 or VB400.
Just give me the Project and I will try to upgrade within 2-3 hours.
