Hi, I've been coding alot of network protcals recently, but one I never had to do was SOCKs, so out of fun I've just looked at the RFCs and it appears to be a very simple and easy protocal to code.
I'm just writing a winsock replacement control that would use a SOCK proxy.
If I finish it and I'm happy with my work I'll fully comment and place a bid for $40 for you.

I have now semi-finished coding up a winsock wrapper control.
At the moment it only allows SOCKS 4 CONNECT, but has laid all the foundations for the rest to be coded.
If you want me to implement the BIND I'm happy to do that.
I'm also happy to explain exactly what my code does.
I have attached a very quickly made demo :). It will connect via a SOCK and send a HTTP request to yahoo.com and the response will appear below.
