Description:
Create a VB application that will Convert .MP3, .MP2, .MP1, .MPG into CD quality format WAV files ready to burn. Shall also be able to Automatically normalizes MP3s to a consistent volume level, and Convert Winamp play lists (.M3U, .PLS) to WAV. See http://www.acoustica.com/

Deliverables:
Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
Remember that contacting the other party outside of the site (by email, phone, etc.) on all business projects < $500 (before the buyer's money is escrowed) is a violation of both the software buyer and seller agreements.

| I would be perfect for this job! I have already had extensive experience with the mp3 format, adapting the ISO decoding code for my mp3 player. I have also already done jobs to normalize mp3s and remove silence from the ends, just see my job history. Im assuming you want code for all the formats, MPEG 1.0, 2.0, 2.5 Layer 1, 2 and 3, and do not need any code to burn .wavs to a CD. I can also perform noise dithering on the sound, similar to what is done when music is mastered onto CD. I can do the decoding code in C++ accessible through a .DLL in Visual Basic. I would like to know if you require a user interface, and if there are any other features you may need before I make a bid.

| This is a bid for a complete VB application similar to the one you mentioned. It will support all the MPEG audio formats, and have the features of being able to normalize the audio, and read m3u/pls file and decode them into one .wav file or separate .wav files. I would write the decoder code in a dll using c++ because Visual Basic is too slow for this, but the main GUI would be in Visual Basic if you require this.
