Description:
I need a program which will read two simple text files (one line per record and one field per line) and merge this data into a new text file with two fields.
Example: File 1 1111~123 4321~222
File 2 01 02
Resulting File 3 1111~123~01 1111~123 1111~123~02 1111~123 4321~222~01 4321~222 4321~222~02 4321~222
Deliverables: 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Complete ownership and distribution copyrights to all work purchased.
3) Simple code comments within the program to facilitate modifications I might make.
4) Functionality as described in the included word document "Project.doc" (attached in zip format)
Platform:
Windows XP, 2000, and NT 4.0 I use Visual Studio 6.0 so I would need the source code to be compatible with that version (same version or earlier version which can be read by 6.0).
Must be 100% finished and received by buyer on:
Nov 12, 2002 EDT

Hi James,
I've looked through your project file and this is not complicated. I can leave the fields variable so that you are not limited by the field size. I&'d also recommend using a setup screen to that you can browse and identify the locations of the files. Also, given that variability of your project I&'d recommend a progress bar to display where it is in the process.
I was going to only bid $60 as it&'s not a large project but your minimum bid requirement is set at $100.
I provide free, ongoing technical support to all of my RAC Clients. This includes a complete, customized setup program for software projects or full installation and testing of Internet related projects.
In addition, your completed project is stored in our secure data repository as part of your overall disaster recovery solution - it`s available to you via email upon request at no charge.
Lastly, your project fee includes the full copyright (all rights, title and interest) to your project. Upon request we will provide you with all necessary forms to legally register your project with the US Copyright Office.
If you have a moment, please review my online resume and client comments regarding my performance on their projects. I`m an excellent communicator and will work closely with you via email or telephone to ensure that we meet or exceed your project goals.
Good luck on your project and thank you for using Rent A Coder!
Best Regards,
Michael Sharp
P.S. - If you have any questions related to my bid or your project`s design, please don`t hesitate to contact me via RAC at any time and I`ll do my absolute best to provide an immediate response!
