.NET Manged C++ Wrapper for VS6 C++ Classes
Bid Request Id: 34661

Description:
We have been requested to integrate an application of ours with a third party product. The vendor has supplied a VC++ (v6) API consisting of about 30 classes.
There are many nested classes and structures and some of the datatypes clash with CLR datatypes. The classes are a representation of a TLV (tag-length-value) file format, consisting of several nested classes, structures and iterators.
API consists of 6 cpp and 10 h files, with the main cpp file having 25,400 lines of code, although most code is simply implementation of the classes and not actual. The code is pure platform-agnostic C++ with no MFC/ATL code
We require these classes to be migrated to Managed C++ so that the API can be used in our C# application.
Full detailed specifications, as well as source code for the API will be made available.
We do not expect this to be a difficult challenge to an experienced hack with VC++ and C++.NET knowledge.
The deadline is very tight. Implementation by 18th November 2002.
Deliverables: 1) Complete and fully-functional working Managed C++ Class Library to be used in C#
2) Delivery of code by 18th November 2002
3) All source code the above solution
4) Complete ownership and distribution copyrights to all work purchased.

Our company has a group of ten software engineers and we specialize in C++ and C#. We can execute the project very quickly.
Will it be possible for you to send a part of the code to review so that we can assess if we are underestimating the project. From your description it looks easy to us since we have developed some large scale applications using C++ and our experience with C++ alone is over 9 years.
Regards
Anil Kumar Maurya
