Description:
I am looking for a program that will show the game pawns. The pawns should look like the ones used in the standard board games. The colors I want are purple, red, blue, yellow, green, orange, white, and brown. You can use one pawn piece and have a function that will change the function based on the standard color codes found in the command button backcolor property. For example, red would be 255, etc. Telling me where to find the pieces are acceptable as well. The pieces need to be professional. I tried scanning the game pieces, but was unable to because of the shape. I tried taking a picture of them but the quality is poor. The size should be 19X19. The preferred format is either gif or jpeg. Enclosed is a picture of a game piece in case you need to see an actual picture. The enclosed picture is the example of the poor quality that came from the digital camera.
Deliverables: either one pawn game piece image, or separate game pieces for each color mentioned and a project that loads the pawns. If you choose to send me one game piece image, then a function that will change the color of the piece when needed. The image should be able to be viewed by loading up a picture or image control. The parts of the image not of the color should show as transparant if possible.
Platform:
Windows XP, Visual Basic 6.0 Professional Edition.

The best way to tackle this would be to render a pawn in 3d Studio. That way it's easy to choose the angle/lighting/colour you like.
Please take a look at some of my work:
