ISP Diagnostic and setup fixing Program (Reposted)
Bid Request Id: 2722

Description:
Some of this can be changed if the coder feels there might be easier or better way.
All change requests will be considered.
1.) Fit on the same disk as our ISPWizard dial setup (200K)
2.) When the program is installed the program will need to read the basic configuration settings on the user machine. DNS, SMTP, POP3, UserName, Password, Dial-up Networking, TCP, Dial-up adapter and other essential information used to connect to the ISP and save to a config file somewhere on the user machine so that they can't delete it by accident.
3.) A small utility to protect the program so we can prevent the use of the software on another service could be almost any needed size. Or if hard coded, to provide a way to re-compile the code. We would not want to be locked in to one set domain name or something like that.
4.) When the ICON is clicked, the diagnostic software will run a check to see if any of the settings have been changed or deleted and prompt the user about what it found and ask if they would like to fix it. Then fix if they say yes.
5.) Then launch the dialer.
6.) If the user has to re-install the complete setup it will need to know to over write all the files it creates.
Thanks
Bob Ross
