Description:
This project is similar to one I have underway here currently(web client programming - search on 'dean'). I want to be able to navigate a password protected site and get and post to and from whatever pages I need. I can do this easily with my browser but am having either authentication problems with my scripts or perhaps since the dynamic pages are drawing info from an SQL database - maybe its specific to SQL? The Result I'm looking for is a perl script (or other mutually agreeable format). If the script is given the access passwords it should be able to navigate to the page(s) I want and pull the html. Also it should be able to POST form info. This seemingly simple project has stumped me and some others for quite a while. If you bid on my previous project - take a stab at this one. If interested I can share more specific info with you to help you determine if you want to bid.
