Description:
I run Linux Slackware 7.1 kernel 2.4.5. I Need to have an on-line sign up page for new customers.
I hope this one is more clear for you. I even took a few things out I hope will make it easier.
1.) Need script or other code to work with this page http://www.kingmanaz.net/online/online.html or you create a new page if you have a better idea. Your choice !!!.
2.) I'm using a small adduser cgi right now on our machines to add users from our office locations. We can provide you a copy to look over if you need to know the procedure for adduser on this release of slackware.
3.) Script must check that user name DOES NOT have numeric 0-9 as first character, and only a-z or 0-9 for the rest and ALL lower case. The Password can be anything but no !#$%^&* characters and also must be lower case. Page script
will need to check this and tell the user to correct it if found.
4.) Script will create text file for the users dial-up program when signup is complete.
Text file will have the following information form the signup page.
Fullname=user name
Username=jsmith
Password=abcdefg
EmailAddress=jsmith
HomePage=http://www.ourdomain.com
5.) The program will run the command to put together our dialing program that will be sent to the user.
Currently the command is
"cat setup.exe details>newsetup.exe"
without quotes. (The newsetup.exe can also be unique like username.exe just incase two people are signing up at the same time). Code must be able to be edited to only send the
text file in the future. The dial up program will soon only require the text file to make a change to the dialer handed out.
6.) Once all information is provided and program built for the user, it will need to start sending the program to the user with the instruction to run from location. If run from location is possible.
7.) All the information will be sent to an email address(s) of choice for admin processing.
8.) A confirmation email to user will be sent with out banking or credit card info as well as on-line for them to print if they want.
9.) Your bid will also include giving instruction to set up Apache to do the automatic file sending. If it's even apache.
10.) MUST WORK WITH CURRENT CONFIGURATION.
11.) MUST WORK with out having to loosen the permissions to file:666 and dir:777
Deliverables: Complete source code of all programming work done
