Description:
I need a script to alphabetize links within my site and have them automatically scroll daily (randomly start with a different letter of the alphabet each day). The script would have to recognize numbers too, so that if a title started with a number, it can still be added to the script. I currently have 6 categories, this script would have to be expandable if I ever need to add more categories.
Deliverables:
Complete source code of all programming work done
Remember that contacting the other party outside of the site (by email, phone, etc.) on all business projects < $500 (before the buyer's money is escrowed) is a violation of both the software buyer and seller agreements.

The 'alphabetizing' and 'random start' are not a problem. Can write write in Perl that is run from command line, crontab, or HTML.
Scrolling is a browser function (not Perl), but the HTML is not difficult. Just need a solid understanding of your requirements.
All I would need to know is where and how the list of links is stored and what your 'catagory' concept is all about.
Can deliver in about two days.
If you need assistance with managing the list and catagorization of the links, I can do that too, but not within this bid price. |
