Hello Brian,
I&'m interested in bidding on your html help files project. I&'m an English teacher and freelance programmer with many years of experience writing documentation, technical papers, etc. I have completed a number of html help projects through RAC as well as for local clients.
I&'ve enclosed a sampling of my most recent project - just unzip these files to a directory and you can view the pages in your browser. In this particular project, the help page opens on the right side of the screen to emulate Microsoft help. In most of my help projects, the contents page is called from the main website page and the others are usually called from specific areas. Every page contains links to related topics and the contents pages, so users can navigate the help system as a subsystem without loosing their place on the web page they invoked the help system from. As you can see, we can incorporate graphics, logos, etc.
I&'m quite experienced at reviewing an application and subsequently developing the appropriate topics, using a consistent and meaningful vocabulary as well as proper grammar and semantics. Some of my past help projects have included up to 90 pages of online documentation!
If you are interested, please take a moment to review my online resume and client comments regarding my performance on their projects. I have also written two articles for RAC, which can be viewed at:

Lastly, I want to let you know that I will work closely with you to meet your needs. I&'m an excellent communicator and I am extremely flexible when it comes to clients - meeting your deadline presents no problems whatsoever!
Best Regards,
Michael Sharp
P.S. - Please forward a link to where I might find the site details when preparing my bid.
