Description:
This is a visual basic project that I am in the middle of, and cannot finish. It has to be done by Thursday 1:00pm (this thursday! April 25th!)
3 pictures and their corresponding words appear on the screen, pulled from a database. 2 of which rhyme, and 1 that does not. The user is to click on the picture that does not rhyme. After getting 5 of them right, the level increases. If you get a couple wrong in a row, the level decreases. Pictures are displayed on the screen to show how many you've answered, how many you've gotten right, and what level you're currently on.
It already has a working logon for the users to log-in and some of the code is there to add the data to the database regarding their performance on the program.
It needs to have a reporting function- just something simple to show the results of each students progress in a nice format and be able to print it.
It needs to have html help documents- I have written them already for the most part, they just need to be put with the program.
Deliverables: Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
Project needs to be in an .exe format when finished so that it can run on any machine.
Platform:
Windows 98 & 2000
Must be 100% finished and received by buyer on:
Apr 25, 2002 1:00:00 AM EDT
Deadline legal notes: All times are expressed in the time zone of the site EDT (UT - 5). If the buyer omitted a time, then the deadline is 11:59:59 PM EDT on the indicated date.
Special Conditions / Other:
I know that there is not much time for completion of this project.. there is a lot of little pieces to the project, but for an experienced coder it should not be that difficult. I have a semi-working model of it, just no time to keep going with it! I can give all the code and graphics and sounds, help files and report layouts to whoever attempts this so you dont have to start from stratch if you find it easier to work off someone elses code to get started.
Remember that contacting the other party outside of the site (by email, phone, etc.) on all business projects < $500 (before the buyer's money is escrowed) is a violation of both the software buyer and seller agreements.
We monitor all site activity for such violations and can instantly expel transgressers on the spot, so we thank you in advance for your cooperation.
If you notice a violation please help out the site and report it. Thanks for your help.

Hi,
Can you send me the work you've finished so far so I can take a look at it? I don't see any problems getting this done by Thursday based on what I've read so far. Are there any other restrictions/requirements?
meanwhile, if you have a moment, please review my online resume and client comments regarding my performance on their projects.
Good luck to you on your project!
Best Regards,
Michael Sharp

Hi again,
The project was missing the login form and a module or two but I get the general idea. My bid is to add the functionality you listed here by Thursday. It doesn't leave a lot of time to do it but I'll focus on it and get it done for you if you accept my bid ASAP (I'll need to start tonight) and send me the rest of the files.
Regards,
Mike
P.S. - Cool project! |
