This control will be C++ based, used in Visual Basic. Here' what I need! A (very fast) - File Search Control That will: (1) Search for files by either a single filter or all files of a drive. (like *.* or *.exe) (2) The search results would be written to a file by the control - using a filename of choice - like a csv file. It shouldn't bogg the system down, during the search...System should remain stable. (3) The information provided by the search - written to file will be - Full Path - Short-Path Shortname - Fullname Size of file, attributes, Volume Info, label-serial Type of Disk - Fixed, Cdrom - zip etc, Date created, Last Accessed, Modified, etc. For example - I already have seen some programs do a complete search of over 60k files in less than 20 seconds... Speed is what I'm after. The faster, the better. Example Demo's must be provided - prior to acceptance of bid. Deliverables: Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. Complete copyrights to all work purchased.
