EXPERIENCE Sr. Programmer Pacific Bell / SBC Services, San Ramon, CA 2/2000 - 12/1/02 Responsible for maintaining the Credit & Collections web, Database and server systems for Pacific Bell, Ameritech & SWBT within the SBC organizations. Supported and communicated with virtual team across 13 states supported by Pacific Bell/SBC. Implemented and supported FileNET Panagon Server and assisted department with connectivity issues. Maintained Collections for Theft of Identity and Bankruptcy Accounts that accumulated over 5 million dollars annually throughout the 13 supported states. Created web work lists for Business and Consumer representatives to use for tracking of their workflow that utilized Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server Databases. · Inducted an online Master Project List to manage for Directors and above to reference and to check current status of outstanding projects. This was recorded into our SQL database and I enabled it to automatically export all of the data into a customized excel spreadsheet which met the VP of Credit & Collections criteria. · Established jobs to run daily to backup databases in the event of database or disk failure under database servers (Transaction Logs backed up 10 times daily). Established database “ghosting” onto test server so that in the event of an overall system failure backup data can still be continue to be retrieved and written. · Migration to a new dedicated server was achieved and is in production. This has drastically improved performance on databases supported by the Technical Team. This allowed for more resources being available on the web server. Web Development/Senior Analyst /Project Manager Pacific Bell / SBC Services, San Ramon, CA 7/1999 - 2/2000 · Maintained an SSL encryption extranet site running IIS 4.0 (Server Box NT 4.0). The website provided Authorized Sales Representatives (ASR) for Pacific Bell a user ID and password allowing them to view current and upcoming events on the Data and Voice side for Pacific Bell throughout the state of California and Nevada. · Developed Computer Based Training online that alleviated the process attending classes&' offsite. Instead, this allowed users to log in, view the presentation of a particular product/new policy and then after complete a quiz (maintained an Access Database storing individuals results). · Created and maintained several separate sites for additional special Pacific Bell Agencies (PB DSL Organization group, ISP group, Specialized Sales Representatives (SSR)) each of these sites were separate entities, which allowed the individual customized access. · Maintained user accounts for representatives. · Utilized ACL (access control lists) and LDAP for directory structure. · Invoked Microsoft Site Server adding Personalization and Management (P&M) to the site that gave the user customized content depending on what links/interests they chose. This was accomplished developed by utilizing Active Server Pages (ASP). · Maintained the Exchange Server for Complementary Channels group. · Maintained Fax Server that was used to forward out confirmations to agents both via voicemail and email of their recently placed order. Responsibility also included being the designated LSA for the California and Nevada Sales Agency, Alternate Channels team. This included creating and modifying accounts for use with Execustar (the creation side was created using the RACF and StarGate32 sub-systems). Communications Specialist/Senior Computer Analyst Pacific Bell Wireless / Cingular Wireless, Pleasanton, CA 4/1998 - 7/1999 · Developed and implemented the PBW Help Desk (PHD) Intranet Website running Netscape Enterprise Server (Server Box UNIX based). This site not only contains Pacific Bell Wireless approved hardware/software and F.A.Q., but also developed an access database which tracks how many users have hit the site on a daily/weekly/monthly basis (along with grabbing their IP address for security). This site also included a link to our Remedy database allowing users to view an up to the minute status of their trouble ticket. · Tested new hardware/software prior to deployment, ensuring there are no conflicts on both Windows 95 and Windows NT Operating Systems. Developed a document for users to complete when evaluating hardware/software. This assures that not only IT has no errors, but also the users who will be primarily using this certified hardware/software are ensured "error free" hardware/software support over our network environment, as well as local support. · Worked and assisted UNIX Administrators in troubleshooting and resolving Solaris system connectivity problems. · Setup and maintained UNIX printers onto the network enabling users to print through Solaris systems and UNIX shells (i.e. Oracle SQL Plus, Reflections) EDUCATION BA: California State University, Hayward; May 1999; Major-Computer Science, Minor-Business.
