The application was developed using an n-tier model, with Microsoft SQL Server 7.0 as the RDBMS. The client application made use of several technologies including COM, Microsoft Transaction Server, Crystal Reports, and Visual Basic.
While consulting as a senior analyst for a multi-state health care provider, Amerigroup Corporation, responsible for the re-engineering of the corporation's Java based claims and encounters processing application. Also, recognized for the successful development of numerous software modifications to the existing claims processing applications using Visual Basic 6.0, SQL Server 2000, and Perl. These modifications were responsible in eliminating errors during the processing of claims to the government, thereby presenting a cost savings of hundreds of thousands of dollars.
