> Automated Frequency Response analyzer and plotter
Role Played : Coding of the software
Software : Microsoft Visual C++ and
Platform : Windows 98/2k ,GPIB Interface
Scope of the project : It interfaces Network Analyzer and phase Shifter with computer to
calculate the frequency response of phase shifter .It uses GPIB
interface and collects the data from phase shift oscillator.
It can store a test run on any material and
then retest the material automatically with stored parameters
> Smart Card Based Attendance Software
Role Played : Responsible for coding
Software : MS Visual Basic
Platform : MS Windows 95/98/2k
Scope of the Project : Automates the attendance in a company using a smart card in place of
magnetic Cards.
> Interactive Voice Response System (Answering Machine with Interactive features).
Role Played : Responsible for coding TAPI part(Interaction with the line device)
Software : Microsoft Visual C++ and Microsoft TAPI .
Platform : Windows 98/2k
Scope of the project : It is an alternative to answering machines with on demand programmable
features. It can record messages from callers .It can replay already
stored messages to specific or general callers via Line Identification
It uses DTMF to allow the caller to interact with the computer via
phone line .Interaction can be programmed and can include accepting
user name and passwords and carry out specific operation like running
some special applications via special codes .
> Smart Email Client
Role Played : Responsible for designing and Coding of dynamic content support and interaction with
pop3 server.
Software : Java ,JFC.
Platform : Platform independent
Scope of the Project : It is an email client that is portable across various platforms and
still provides same interface .It can download/upload emails form
users pop3,smtp,imap accounts .It has dynamic content handling. And
emails with any content types can be downloaded and viewed after
installing the content handlers for the type with the software.
It has an address book for managing contacts .It also has Inbox filter
that can be used to set various rules for checking incoming mails .
> Complete Patient Information System.
Role Played : Responsible for designing and Coding of the software
Software : Oracle 7 ,SQL Forms and Sql Report
Platform : HP-UX Unix Operating system
Scope of the Project : The software maintains a complete information about the patient from
his arrival till discharge that included Automatic Room/Bed maintenance
Patient Medical History management , Automatic billing for patients and
Support for OPD.
> Material Resource Planner
Role Played : Responsible for designing and Coding of the software
Software : Visual Basic 6.0/crystal reports .
Platform : HP-UX Unix Operating system
Scope of the Project : The project was designed for a leather tannery .
It automates management of raw material(leather and skins) till they
are converted to finished leather and shipped.
> Misc. Projects completed as academic requirements are
1> Chat server and client in Java
Features: Single Room, Support for Private as well as General Chat and Server
Administration tool
2> HTTP Web Server application in Java
Features: Handles GET Request, Support for .html, .class and
.jpeg files and configurable mapping of home directory.
3> Developed Cxtremes ,C style language with its own parser and
lexer using Bison flex/yacc for Generic Stream Analyzer
Features: CXtream is very similar to C with some restrictions & additions. It supports
all kind of loops like for, while etc but tailored for MPEG syntax. Used
Lex/Yacc for parsing the language. Actions were written in C
