Work Experience:

Freelance Developer, West New York, NJ June 2001 to Present

  • Designed PDF to text conversion software

By developing client relations through online exchange sites, and word of mouth, I have had a an opportunity to work on a myriad of projects. This has allowed me to develop my ability to estimate and implement development projects.

Banklink, Inc., New York, NY February 2001 to Present
Lead Developer

  • Developed Visual Basic middleware components for connectivity to legacy Tandem Non-Stop SQL server and ASP front-end
  • Designed middle tier to display tier data delivery methods using hand-rolled XML from VB COM+ objects to ASP pages

The project that I have been working on since my hire in February marks a monumental paradigm shift for Banklink. Their cash management solutions have evolved from an original DOS product to the current initiative, a n-tier web based application. I had to overcome significant obstacles from how to access legacy data, to piping that data to a dynamic web front-end. By combining development experience with my people skills, I was able to lend a great deal to the main project. The next step will be to start to implement our products as web services utilizing SOAP and UDDI.

Capital IQ, Inc., New York, NY August 2000 to February 2001

  • Implemented Microsoft Application Center 2000 .NET Platform component for web cluster management and network load balancing (NLB)

My roll, as lead developer requires constant interaction with fellow teammates in addition to key members of the investment banking side of business. By way of acting quickly to customer response to the product, I became accustomed to working in an accelerated development environment.
