This is a Web Solution designed to teach all newcomers into the .Net field on how to incorporate Multi-language support into your Web Applications.

                  This tutorial will teach you:

  1. How to create the Resource files for various languages.
  2. How to access the Resource file data from the web pages.
  3. How to store Unicode (multilingual) data into the database.
  4. How to access multilingual data from the database.

The WebSite consists of three ASPX pages:

  1. multiling.aspx (this is the first page)
  2. secondpage.aspx (the user is sent to this page from the first page)
  3. thirdpage.aspx (this is the last page of the solution and the ser is sent here from second page.)

The tutorial shows how the multilingual data can be accessed by the following different methods:

  1. The Resource Files
  2. The Database. (In our case, we used MS SQL Server)

Please check the ZIP file for more details and the sample Web Solution.

Virus note:All files are scanned once-a-day by Planet Source Code for viruses, but new viruses come out every day, so no prevention program can catch 100% of them.

FOR YOUR OWN SAFETY, PLEASE:
1)Re-scan downloaded files using your personal virus checker before using it.
2)NEVER, EVER run compiled files (.exe's, .ocx's, .dll's etc.)--only run source code.

If you don't have a virus scanner, you can get one at many places on the net including:McAfee.com
