one issue with FTP is that the server
only supports one "mode" and the
directory information is not clearly
defined in the RFC - so different FTP
servers send the same packet in
different formats - this has been
confirned for NT, Win 2000, Linux and
Unix. Any suggestions on a more widly
used format? Ironically this is
following a Unix based format.
