Description:

Project Name: Graphic Securing
Language: Preferably perl
Time Frame: Need ASAP
NEW:In my first project description I forgot to mention something. I have no real problem if the user uses a screencapture or such. I just cannot have them download the images from my site. I have close to...80 pictures and logs show that 5 users downloaded all the images in under 20 seconds. This really screwed up the server. As long as they cannot rightclick and download (must be better than the NORIGHTCLICK script!). it should work. The destinations of graphics should also be encrpted so they don't just type in www.domain.com/images/.

Details:

I have a picture posting site which is made up of many cgi scripts. The ENTIRE page is done in CGI. My webhost has postponed by account because people were stealing my files both by browsers and by graphic ripping programs. This has caused the servers to crash (I receive upto 15,000 visits a day and a lot of them use applications to take ALL the images off my site causing it to bog down the server).

I am looking for someone to make it nearly impossible (atleast 99% of the time) for people to use take my graphics. I had the idea of making a new cgi encode all my other cgi's so applications cannot view the source. But could people still take the images?

Don't say this is impossible, it IS possible. I need someone to come up with a logical idea and see it through, this NEEDS to get done or my page won't get back up. When posting a bid/comment, give me any and all ideas you have that will make stealing my graphics impossible.

To better your chance of getting selected
  • Let me know what language you can do this in, if applicable
  • Tell me the approx. time needed to complete
  • Give me ideas/comments on how you propose this project can get done successfully (required)
  • All blank bids will be ignored for all further projects

    Deliverables:
Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.

Complete copyrights to all work purchased.

I need the solution implemented into my website and I need one package for my host. My webhost wants the project, so you need to make one I can distribute and have them know how to do it (well commented scripts, readme files, etc)

    Platform:
Needs to work on both linux and windows along with all browsers.

    Special Conditions / Other:
Remember I need 2 copies. One installed onto my webserver and one I will distribute to my webhost. You cannot distribute product.

Remember that contacting the other party outside of the site (by email, phone, etc.) on all business projects < $500 (before the buyer's money is escrowed) is a violation of both the software buyer and seller agreements. We monitor all site activity for such violations and can instantly expel transgressers on the spot, so we thank you in advance for your cooperation. If you notice a violation please help out the site and report it. Thanks for your help.
