Description:
This application will be a simple data collection and entry application. The data will be stored on a single table, a suggested structure for that table is included. There will be several supporting tables, however editing capability for these supporting tables does not need to be created. The supporting tables are Vehicles and Drivers.
The base form should provide the ability to seach for records using a variety of criteria, to sort search results by different columns, to display all records, to create a new record, to edit an existing record, to view record details, or to close the base form. The view function can be similar to the edit however changes cannot be saved when viewing.
The application should be writted as an SDI application, with no menu component, and edit cut/copy/paste functions do not need to be implemented. The close button on the base form should close the application. All windows that are spawn from the base form should be modal, edit and create windows should have the option to cancel as well as save changes. The editing/viewing should be on a seperate form than the base form, the search features should be built into the base form. All all data access components including the database object should reside on the base form. All text editing components should be set to only allow uppercase.
This application will be a component of a larger application. Forms should be able to be displayed on 800x600 screen. Please no components that are not part of the standard delphi package, and Buttons should not have Icons etc.

The attached SQL file can be run against an empty database to create the main table and the two supporting detail tables.
Deliverables:
Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
Complete copyrights to all work purchased.
Platform:
Application must be developed in Delphi Version 6, Database must be structured for Microsoft SQL Server 2000. Client application must access database via the BDE with use of the Borland MSSQL SQL Link. All data access must use BDE data access components.
Must be 100% finished and received by buyer on:
Mar 1, 2002 EDT
Deadline legal notes: All times are expressed in the time zone of the site EDT (UT - 5). If the buyer omitted a time, then the deadline is 11:59:59 PM EDT on the indicated date.

I have over 5 years using Delphi 5 and SQL Server / Access. I can do this piece of work in 2 days or less.
Pl let me know if you are fixed on Delphi 6 - I have Delphi 5 and none of my other clients are yet moving to Delphi 6. Can you use code done in D5 ? Pl let me know.
