Description:
Program 4
This builds on program3: This is an inventory of 5 stores, which includes: 5 digit stock number, 10 char maximum description, cost, average of the item for all 5 stores, and a total inventory cost. The program needs to have the following: Add another field, a Boolean that indicates if the store is a megastore or not. If it is, a Y is printed if not N.
Convert the parallel arrays to data structures. Declare an array of structures. Add another choice to the menu. Find a particular item. Accept a stock number and if you find, print out the entire line of information for that item, along with the header. Run your program several times, with valid and invalid stock numbers. Add two more choices to the menu, print report of stock items, and print report of out of stock items.
Use multiple source files for this program, and be sure your structure definition, prototypes and symbolic constants are defined in the header file, which should be included in your source files.
Turn in the following reports: 1. A report of all stores 2. A report of all MEGA stores 3. A report of all non-MEGA stores 4. Two reports found items 5. One report of non-found items
Do not have redundant functions, that is do not have a function that prints all stores, one that prints MEGA stores, one that prints non-MEGA stores. Use a function that prints one line of data and call it accordingly. Be sure to clearly label the reports when you hand them in.
Objectives: Use data structures and pass them as arguments Use pointers to data structures Use multiple source files for the program.
The next program: Program 5
Use Program 4 as the basis for this program, and use classes to implement the program. You must have a specification file, an implementation file, and driver file in addition to header files. The specs for Program 4 are to be used here.
Objectives: Use OOP techniques correctly.
I have program 3 which can be improved upon/used as template.
Deliverables: Complete source code of all programming work done including comments, pseudocode, 5 different types of reports.
Special Conditions / Other:
Program 4 is due 7/26 Program 5 is due 8/2

I am #5 on the coding list. Most of my work has been C++ Projects for classes. This job is not a large task for me. I can easily get you the projects back before the deadlines.
About 1/2 of my projects have dealt with structures, parallel arrays and or classes. 2 or 3 have dealt with file Input/Output. I am the right man for the job.
I hope you accept my bid, Kunal Johar |
