Description:
A friend of mine has been editing a document in Word. When done she printed it out and then closed the document, without saving it.
Now she asks me if there is any way to recover that document.
Does anyone know if Word could have made an autobackup of that file? And if yes, how to recover it? Also by using special software to scan the harddisk for lost files.
Regards Claes

Hi! If she printed it out and the printer was in spooler mode, that's a very big chance to have the file spooled. Else ... word is closing the back-up file if word process was finished ok. Best regards, SoCh. |
