Web site design from ground up. The customer wants a fast loading site, so light on graphics, use CSS to pretty up the site instead of graphics, where possible.
Site will use forms, MySQL database, SSL.

1) Complete source code of all work done
2) Complete ownership and distribution copyrights to all work purchased.
3) Project details as described in the following:
Home (page) - General overview, beautiful travel photo, links to other pages, brief splash message about special travel package being offered. (I like the special offer graphic box with the scrolling specials at www.tahitinuitravel.com)
Special Offer (page) - Will list current special travel packages, probably a photo along with details of the packages, price, expiration deadline, etc. (This might be a CMS style setup, because the customer wants to be able to edit this page). Nothing fancy with the CMS administrative section because we are trying to keep the cost down. The other option is to allow the customer to edit the pages via Macromedia Contribute, (or maybe Dreamweaver, or Frontpage).
Personalized Reservation Request (page) - This is a form which will allow a visitor to request a personalized reservation. This form will need to collect information in the following categories:
Personal - name, address, contact info, names of other travelers, etc. (15 data fields)
Travel Info - Destination, airline preference, dates, times, car at destination, specs of car, accomodations at destination, hotel preference at destination, etc (20 fields, estiamte)
About Us (page)
Brief company overview, also a brief bio and pic of each of the agents who work at company
Travel Tips & Links (page)
Page will provide tips, information, and other content relevant to those who are travelling. May also include a FAQs. Links to other travel sites that the client has affiliate relationships with.
Book It Yourself (page)
Book it yourself will link to a seperate web site that client has partnered with to handle online reservations for airline, car, hotel.
Customer Travel Profile (log in page, or register to create)
A customer can sign up to have a profile at Prestige Travel. This profile will list their travel preferences when reservations are made, such as personal details, airline, meal, car, hotel, frequest flyer numbers, etc. The customer will also have on file their preferred credit card for payment of travel arrangements. (35 pieces of data). This page will require SSL encryption because of CC data being entered. This information should be stored in a secure database so that both the travel agent and customer can display the record and edit it was well. Only agent can delete however. Customer can only edit record to change their preferences.
Design Style:
The site will not be fancy, however it should have a fun & crisp look to the graphics and layout. The client wants to focus the web site on leisure travel packages, so the site should not be overly serious, but not goofy either. They are professionals who want to have some fun. We want the use of CSS to be part of the design. Site should be with minimal graphics to speed load times for visitors.
Color is flexible, except for the logo (green), which is attached (low res sample). The rest of the colors should blend favorably with the logo.
Navigation links prefer at top shaped as tabs (see a sample from another site attached).
Design should be flexible to allow future content additions without redesigning interface. Should be able to easily fit links to new content into link system.
Graphics:
To be provided by winning bidder (except for vacation images, scenery, etc, client has plenty of pictures to scan, etc). Logo file is available in digital format, along with various pictures that will be provided.

Platform:
Hosting is provided on a Linux server with all the usual stuff on it.
Development should be based on open-source platforms, such as PHP, MySQL, and related.
SSL certificate will be installed to handle secure transactions.

This bid request includes IMPORTANT additional attached files. Please download and read fully before bidding.
Remember that contacting the other party outside of the site (by email, phone, etc.) on all business projects < $500 (before the buyer's money is escrowed) is a violation of both the software buyer and seller agreements.
