Description:
I currently have a small program written in vc++ and I need a Mac expert to help me rewrite this to work on most versions of mac.

You will be working with my developer who is experienced with Linux but not so much with Mac.

You will also need a working knowledge of PDF.

Your main focus will be to be a consultant to assist my coder to make our program work on Mac.

Deliverables:
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Installation package that will install the software (in ready-to-run condition) on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) Complete ownership and distribution copyrights to all work purchased.

Platform:
Win 98 and up - Mac 8 and up - Linux

Hello, I have extensive experience on Windows with MSDEV, MacOS 9 (CodeWarriror) and OS X (CodeWarrior and Apple tools). I have also written several popular PDF tools including PDFshrink and PDF Enhancer which are shipping on Windows and MacOS X.

Hello, thanks for the additional information. Is this an Acrobat plugin?

I've developed code to use various pieces of information on Windows and MacOS X systems to generate a unique 'host-id' number for use in a license manager. One piece of information guaranteed to be unique on each machine is the ethernet MAC address. I have code to retrieve this number on OS X.

BTW - I'm a member of Adobe's ASN program and actively develop plugins for Acrobat on Windows and Macintosh platforms. In addition I have developed standalone libraries for reading/modifying/writing PDF files without requiring Acrobat. I do not have a PDF viewer, but I have developed a PDF to raster conversion program which could be used in a PDF viewer.
