Description:
Hello RAC's:
I am in need of information mainly for this project as I am doing research for my company.
I have a team of telemarketers who sells my websites over the phone. I want them to be able to enter in the customer's credit card information online to complete the order instead of having to mail checks or money orders which takes too long.
I know about PayPal, but that is more for the customer's own use instead of the business's use. Most of my customers don't know how to use the Internet really well, so requesting that they go to PayPal and create an account wouldn't work.
I am asking for any advice or credit card merchants/compaines that you know of that might be able to allow my sales staff to take credit card orders online, just as a customer would do in a store if they purchased something.
Thanks in advance for the expertise.

- Hi.
Take a look at merchantanywhere.com This is my area of expertise and I know a lot of different companies out there, but this is by far the best company (no obligations or signup costs, excellent service price, and super rates. etc...).
They provide you with a merchant account (that's why you get the low 2.2%).
If you don't want to get a merchant account, then it's at least 5% per transaction (PayPal 'IS' the exception because they require the user to sign-up and go through a complicated process, as you aready know - and you 'DO' loose sales).
I've been following this area and working with a number of companies for the last few years. With my bid acceptance, I can provide you with the top 3 list (okay - MerchantAnywhere.com and two others).
Regards,
Blaine
